Upcoming International Women's Conference

Updated: Sep 12, 2019

Wow – this Fall 2019 comes on the heals of a full summer of camps, chaplaincy training and events in Ukraine and Moldova. All the English Camps were a success and we saw spiritual growth, many lives changed and relationships built for a lifetime! I hope you were able to read COL (R) Linda Sheimo’s (Board Member) inspirations words last month as Jeff Davis (Board Member) interviewed her on the details of the Moldova camp.

At the end of October, our Family Support Director Caroline Grube will be traveling back to Ukraine to give guidance and support to Zhanna at the 7th International Women’s Christian Conference sponsored by Olive Branch. Caroline and the team of five will be representing Army, Navy and Coast Guard. The conference takes place at the Kiev Theological Seminary and we expect significant leadership development and training to take place as well as encouraging women as they encourage service personnel and military forces’ wives. A number of themes will be addressed including the main theme of “A New Person in New Conditions” as well as other themes around resilience and how best to handle the moral and psychological pressures of being around war and the effects of war. It will be an important conference for those attending and we know this inspirational and educational event is much needed and will produce much fruit.

Please consider a special gift to the “Women’s Conference”

In addition, much gratitude and acknowledgement needs to be given to COL (R) Valentyn Korenevych, President of Olive Branch Ukraine for his tireless service and leadership throughout the English Camps in Ukraine. In addition, the chaplaincy program is thriving and Valentyn this educational program through the “Pastoral Chaplaincy Program at Kiev Theological Seminary has another successful group of students. In addition, to all his work with the English Camps, pastoral ministry and administrative work Valentyn continues to improve and train chaplains at Kiev Theological Seminary. It is a critical part of the Olive Branch Ukraine ministry.

Would you consider being a part of the Women’s Conference?
