Your “Window of Opportunity” to become global change agents

Dear Friends - Your OBI teams are literally springing into 2026 through global and national ministry conferences, exciting new partnerships and planning our continued work in Kenya and Ukraine. Being able to attend the TECH medical missions conference and one at the Museum of the Bible has enhanced our ability to work effectively.

Even in the midst of continued bombing across Ukraine, Olive Branch Ukraine (OBU) has been resilient and continued its relentless work with the Ukraine Armed Forces and hundreds of military families impacted by this conflict. In 1991, after Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union, pastors and priests began serving as volunteer Chaplains. For more than 20 years, pastoral care for those in uniform was fully voluntary. Several Ukrainian Chaplains were able to travel to Washington, DC this year to share about their frontline experiences and share how the new professional Chaplain Corps is standing in the gap for Ukrainian men and women in uniform (and their families).

OBI global ministries were represented at the Spring TECH Conference in April 2026 in Wilkesboro, NC and will soon be partnering with TECH’s newest member “LimbFit”, a prosthetics foundation that has recently opened free prosthetic clinics in Ukraine and Kenya. Coming this August 2026, an OBI team will be in Nairobi for our fourth consecutive year of mental health conferences and camps.
