Dear Friends
We are almost ready to leave for Kenya again. For the third year, Olive Branch International has been requested to teach, train, and serve the mental wellness needs, including trauma, of adults, children, and their families in Kenya, based on all our work in Ukraine, Moldova, Rwanda, and many other countries around the world.

A special focus is on families living in the world’s largest slum, Mathare Valley, and adjacent slums where over 600,000 people live in three square miles of squalor.
This is a mental wellness initiative and partnership with Mission of Hope International (MOHI) in Nairobi, Kenya. Our team will be conducting a leadership training conference for 100 leaders, consisting of pastors, counselors, military leaders, social workers, nurses, and teachers, on how to better care for those dealing with trauma. Leaders will be coming from all over the country for this conference.
The team will also be training social workers in case management principles. We have been tasked with raising the standard of care and training trainers to duplicate these teaching concepts in their own leaders.

The two-day camp is for children who have experienced trauma and will help them deal with the effects of stress they have encountered and are still dealing with in desperate circumstances.
“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy." Psalm 94:19 (NIV)
If you have a heart for Africa and these mission efforts, please feel free to donate to Olive Branch International through the link below.
Blessings,
