Recently there were two significant events for the women's ministry. One was the training conference for leaders in the Carpathian Mountains in June. The other was a collaboration of two clubs and a church in Khmelnytskyi in July.

Below is a summary of the impact of the yearly leader training event and learning how to serve the community and partner with other organizations. Many of the women in the clubs or who participated in the event are from displaced families whose homes were close to the front lines.

The event was “Through the Valley of Trials.”  The Ark of Hope Church, Khmelnytski, and Clubs Joy and Sisters of the Rock were hosts to 50 women attending from the local area. The men of the church did the cooking and cleaning so the women could renew, find peace in God’s beautiful creation, and worship.  There was time for teaching and crafts.  The ribbon cross is a tool to talk about Jesus. This event was possible because of the Olive Branch Ukraine Women’s Clubs and continues to expand the opportunity to share the power of God and His love.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds." Hebrews 10:25

These words written to the early church are relevant today for the ministry of these women in Ukraine. The work that OBI began in 1997 was prepared in advance for them. They are giving themselves fully. Please consider “spurring” them on through your prayers and financial support.
