"Beyond Olive Branch, she has served in school administration and volunteers now in a homeless shelter and pregnancy resource center among other places."

Diane Carnahan became a Navy wife after graduating from college with an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Education from SUNY at Albany. After working briefly Diane spent many years as a full-time mom and volunteer. She has attended PWOC and OCF Bible studies and other women's ministry activities. While her husband was on active duty, she was actively involved in military support activities including command ombudsman. Her family has housed many international visitors and missionaries in their home.

Diane held several part-time positions before seeking work in administrative support at a private elementary school. She has been active in children, youth, adult ministries, and music ministries at local churches in a number of communities.  Following retirement, she has become active serving in a pregnancy resource center and a local homeless day center among other ministry activities.

Diane first learned about Olive Branch in early 2000. Diane has participated in numerous trips to Eastern Europe as part of the Family Support Program, specifically working with women in the military communities. She has assisted with administrative tasks for OBI. Diane is married to Tom and they have two married sons and seven grandchildren. They enjoy spending as much time as possible with their families.
