I have spent almost my entire life in the military environment and culture, living and travelling all over the world. My passion is travelling and experiencing new cultures. Throughout my life as a military child and spouse I have had wonderful opportunities to live and travel abroad. I taught elementary school during many of our different assignments in the U.S. and overseas, and I am currently subbing in the Prince William County school system. I have been to English Camp in Ukraine several times. I am also active on the women’s council of our church, working on monthly activities and conferences for the women of the church.

We have two wonderful daughters. The oldest, Becca, graduated from George Mason University with a degree in International Politics and Global Affairs. She spent the last year teaching English in Hefei, China and is currently living in Augusta, Georgia. Our youngest daughter, Baylee, attends the University of Virginia, and this semester, she is studying in St. Petersburg, Russia. Baylee has also spent several summers at English camp in Ukraine.

There is no doubt in our minds that God led us to OBI. Before we left for our assignment in Ukraine, we met Rick and Carolyn, who lived less than a mile from us. After that, the connections and opportunities just kept occurring. We do not know what plan God has for us and OBI, but we are open to whatever it is.
